@AsakyGRN I don’t understand why this should even happen in the first place. we must know where to draw the line. The desire not to appear overly righteous, we’ve ended up presenting ourselves as unrighteous. This is not how we win souls, we only end up compromising our stand in Christ.
This nursing mother was recorded by the terrorists after they were abducted few days ago in Oyo state.
The terrorists have since then beheaded one teacher and they still have 46 children brutally held up in a cave somewhere.
Let the whole world see this.
A person openly rejecting Christ, becoming a Muslim, atheist, or denying the gospel should not simply be assured, “You are still saved no matter what.” Scripture treats denying Christ and departing from the faith very seriously.
The Bible teaches:
salvation is through Christ,
A born again Christian who becomes a Muslim is STILL SAVED.
He is just God’s son who lost His mind.
You may forget your owner, your owner knows you.
This is not the first time people denounce their parents yet their children look like the
Parents they denounced.
DNA is not a mental construct.
Just because you removed your surname doesn’t mean you have removed your father’s gene.
The prodigal son remained a son even in his sins.
Yes, he wasn’t enjoying all the realities of sonship because his mind was corrupted and actions were corrupted but he was always a son!
Nothing changed about his sonship!
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
We have been BOUGHT WITH A PRICE!
We are not our own!
We may act like we own ourselves but in God’s mind, we are His!
He bought us!
These are spiritual realities, not mental issues.
If you have a friend who was on fire for God and later became an atheist, don’t assume he or she is lost, he or she may be lost mentally but the seed of God remains in him or her spiritually!
Your responsibility should be to keep reminding him or her of true identity!
“being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”
1 Peter 1:23 KJV
SALVATION IS FOREVER!!
Christian denominations may differ on church structure, worship style, spiritual gifts, baptism methods, dress codes, and many other doctrines. However, there are foundational beliefs that unite true Christianity.
Conclusion
Many church doctrines differ on secondary matters, but the heart of Christianity remains centered on Jesus Christ:
•Who He is
•Why He came
•What He accomplished through His death and resurrection
•The salvation He offers
•And His promised return
