@SuzanaLark @1899Promethean Having a scientific mindset is seminal to her character. So, that part has to be real. About losing a child, I sometimes feel that she might be reliving her mother's traumas in 1899 and it was her mother who might have lost a child before landing up in the asylum.

Does Eyk have his own 'Alfred'? Even though Eyk doesn't remember anything, Alfred shows up twice to guide his way.

@SuzanaLark Maura, Eyk, Daniel and Elliot are the key players. In some ways Ada is too, because she was the one link between the upper and lower decks. With her around there would have been no mutiny. So she had to go.

@SuzanaLark Apparently, Alfred leads people to where they are supposed to be. Ada was to 'die', Maura was to find Elliot, Eyk was to be led out of his memory where he got stuck. And some mystery inside Eyk's family photo had to be exposed, which Maura stopped from happening.

@SuzanaLark Alfred guiding Maura to Elliot in the Prometheus and Daniel opening the cabin door next to Maura's in Kerberos, both happen at almost the same time. So, it would appear that there are more than one. Maybe Alfred is a cheat code of sorts?
