@otb33291187 The main benefit I see is that it's a blue creature with a relevant ability, so you don't have to bother with having a Man-O-War to bounce it. Aluren-Harpy-Cutpurse is a combo by itself that doesn't require you to pay a bunch of life for Raven to dig for something relevant first
@DaveLongMTG @jkyu06@ExpeditionMap Nice list. How was the Scythecat? I also see you cut the raccoon as well. Has that been underperforming for you? (It often just gets Pushed, IME)
@dominharvia How'd the Yavimaya been? Most folks seem to run another Surveil land in that spot. Seems pretty good after you start flipping your deck, but I'm not as sure about before you do that.
@babyberluce I've been certified as an L2 for about a decade now (though I didn't choose to retain it through Judge Academy). If you'd like, I can offer some opinions and advice.
@n3m0n1c@GazzyB1233 Lol, he cares more about other people's health than his own. To each their own I guess. He might actually do it to hide tells though a la shades, I guess.
@BcdLegacy@Akaleth I definitely sing a Children's version of WttBP on occasion, though you do definitely need to lower the tempo a bit for the second half
@TomJab2022 But it seems Ouphe covers Echo/Ring in most cases. VS Frog i feel like a Nadu would be sufficient as they'd have to discard 3 cards to attack through. Is carpet even particularly good vs a deck that often leads on T1 Forest?
It seems like a narrow-ish beans answer.
@otb33291187@BigRoll94 Incidentally, Veil of Summer helps deal with both angles they try. Namely because it protects your removal. Veil + StP answers archon 1-for-1 if you don't have the Macabre. I liked Togores's idea of some Endings main and Path to Exile side with veils.
@otb33291187 Don't like safekeeper? It's very good with Endurance looping and seems good in combo matchups since it costs less than Bill and is a cheap Nomad you can Zenith for to dig deeply immediately for Force in a pinch.
