A parent of a Grade 10 learner at Milnerton High School in Cape Town has come forward with saying that her son endured bullying, physical attacks, ongoing harassment, and psychological torment from a group of boys, some of whom play on the school's premier Rugby team.

The parent highlighted that these 18-year-old athletes, who should embody resilience, self-control, and role-model qualities, have instead resorted to threats and violence against peers.

Speaking up for their child as well as for any other student whose pleas have been overlooked or brushed aside, the parent underscored the school's fundamental obligation to safeguard every learner's well-being and security.
