And now I make every argument @Jabaluck made about physicians making too much and adding to healthcare costs, only with professors adding to higher education costs (THREAD)
It would be unthinkable for me to demand to care for people beyond the scope afforded me through education & training. Much less during a looming pandemic. Unthinkable. What is the motivation? Vote No SB 1676. No SB 714. No SB 1094. @FLSenate@GovRonDeSantis
We did not form out of happenstance. We formed out of necessity. Every patient deserves physician-led care and truth and transparency regarding healthcare credentials. https://t.co/mB7JNBtlEN
@tnicholsmd@KillaCali27@pppforpatients Holy mischaracterization, Batman! I work with great NPs and PAs. But, patients are best served by a team model. I’m concerned that NP/PA are not trained for independent practice and our patients are the unwitting subjects in an experiment called “full practice authority.”
The truth about "diploma mills", graduating anyone who pays. Who will care for you & your loved ones?? A physician w/ 20,000+ hours of training, or someone w/ 500 hours of ‘observation’? #askforphysician#itsoktoask#trainingmatters

The projected increase in primary care NP supply (93%) exceeds the increase in demand (19%) by 42,500 FTE by 2025. Similarly, the primary care PA supply (76%) is expected to exceed the increase in demand (17%) by 19,710 FTE by 2025.
Here is an explanation. As a surgeon I only work with CRNAs that are being supervised by a physician. The World Health Organization has set this standard. https://t.co/wDWxg3qjkp
Florida nursing board acts unethically to allow a CRNA to call themselves an anesthesiologist. Why are CRNAs trying to fool patients into thinking they are physicians? How can we trust the nursing board to protect patients? https://t.co/wTNDiOJCMv
For those of you asking ....... yeah don’t worry, I can’t wait to *blog* about how crappy this whole experience was as well. The wholeee thing, don’t worry.
But it’s nice to be alive enough to experience even the crappiest of experiences, you know?

We may be moving anywhere from California to New York for our new jobs, but Drexel/Hahnemann will always have a special place in our hearts. 💚
