PROPOSAL PALOOZA
A co-working event to workshop contract articles with the Emory Unite! bargaining committee!
September 12, 6-7PM
Bowden Hall, Room 216 561 South Kilgo Cir NE, Atlanta GA 30322
Long time, no post. Sorry this website got sad and weird.
It's still sad and weird, but a great way to combat those feelings is to join us next week for ProposalPalooza: learn about the Bargaining Committee and help us knock out some drafts!
ALSO, our next bargaining session is so soon: Monday 9/9 at 9 am! We have so much to present we ran out of time at our planning meeting
Bargaining unit members, you should have a zoom link in your emails if you want to watch the magic happen
Attention ATL members! Finish Women's History Month on a high note with a talk on how fellow workers across various sectors in the South fight for gender equity in their workplaces (and how you can too)!
Details in the flyer below!๐
Emory Unite! Graduate Student Workers stand with Boston University Graduate Student Workers as they strike for increased pay, workplace protections, and better benefits @gradworkersofBU@SEIU#UnionStrong
Weโre still riding the solidarity wave from the #BUGWUOnStrike rally! โค๏ธโ๐ฅ We thank our allies, friends, & the labor community for helping us show out and shut things down at Marsh Plaza. Keep joining @gradworkersofBU on the picket line until they win a strong contract!
Happy 2-years, @SBWorkersUnited! One year ago, workers at the first union store in Buffalo won their NLRB election. Today there are 380 union stores and nearly 10k union baristas!
Wondering what's next? Join us this Thursday, November 30th, at 5:30pm in White Hall 110 for a celebration and town hall discussion of the rights we've gained as unionized workers and to learn about bargaining for a union contract
An historic victory for unions in the South, Emory University PhD Student-workers have voted 909 to 73 (92.5% Yes) to be represented by @SEIU Workers United Southern Region!
Thank you to everyone past and present who work made this possible! We did it!

Who supports our union? Pretty much everyone!
