@CTULocal1 Do you realize that many will see your opposition as a reason to support? Please stop diverting precious time and resources away from teachers and students.
@CTULocal1 Instead of spending your energy on the fight, how about bringing everyone together and putting his money to work to ensure that all teachers have what they need and all students learn to read, write, and do arithmetic?
@ParentCps Ctu reducing their political contributions (and therefore dues) will have a greater positive impact on teachers than this will have a negative impact.
@ParentCps Let’s do our part to reduce hysteria. 5% reduction means one more kid in a classroom of 20. Of course, I want a lot more teachers, and I want them all to be paid a million dollars. And I don’t want another 25% increase in property taxes.
@CTULocal1 Will you be rallying for improved curricula and teaching resources? Aren’t being able to read and write the most equitable things you can equip cps students with?
@miriamcbthinks Do you mean that no one in the room was advocating for or considering the needs of black and Latinx students or that everyone in the room was white?
@CTULocal1 What if we could all agree on ensuring that every single student learns to read, write, and do arithmetic? That’s what we are all focused on, right?
