If Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT and his service chiefs fail to track down and secure the release of the abducted Oyo schoolchildren and other kidnapped people, we will have no choice but to occupy Aso Rock Villa this week!
Today’s governorship primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) across Rivers State were conducted peacefully, orderly, and in the true spirit of democracy. In my LGA, Akuku-Toru, the process was calm and seamless, and I am deeply humbled by the overwhelming show of confidence and unity demonstrated by party faithful.
I emerged unopposed, with no opposing aspirant present at the venue, and I accepted the affirmation of our members with gratitude, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility.
I thank God for His grace throughout this process and appreciate every delegate, stakeholder, and supporter who stood firmly for peace, progress, and the future of our dear state.
As we await the final coalition and official announcements from the party leadership, I remain committed to the ideals of service, which the NDC proudly represents. The journey to selfless service for Rivers State is only just beginning.

https://t.co/XJRB5mFPOw The cry of an innocent child after Fulani terrorists attacked and wiped out an entire village is heartbreaking. Behind every attack are families torn apart, lives cut short, and communities left in fear and mourning.
Sadly, this insecurity has not stopped. Villages continue to come under attack, innocent people are displaced from their homes, and many Nigerians go to bed each night uncertain of what tomorrow may bring. The continued loss of lives and destruction of communities should concern every citizen, regardless of tribe, religion, or political affiliation.
What is even more troubling is the growing perception that these bandits and terrorists are facing little resistance or consequence for their actions. When criminals repeatedly carry out attacks and escape justice, they become emboldened. They begin to believe that nothing will happen to them, and that belief only fuels further violence.
The primary responsibility of any government is the protection of lives and property. Nigerians deserve to feel safe in their homes, on their farms, on the roads, and in their communities. The tears of innocent children, the grief of widows, and the pain of families who have lost loved ones should be enough to compel urgent and decisive action.
The victims are not statistics. They are human beings with dreams, families, and futures. Their cries must not be ignored, and their suffering must not be forgotten.

A man buying food was suddenly confronted by police attempting to arrest him. He dashed into the shop, locked the door, and refused to come out.
As a crowd gathered, a woman started recording the scene. One officer spotted her and threatened to shoot her for filming.
