Adams recently made his World Cup debut with South Africa and played a key role in Mamelodi Sundowns’ successful CAF Champions League campaign.

Two weeks ago, Adams lost his grandmother Marianna Adams but demonstrated remarkable professionalism by featuring for Bafana Bafana in their World Cup match against Czechia.

Our condolences and thoughts go out to his family, friends, teammates, and everyone at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Prominent Jamaican-American podcaster, DJ Akademiks has weighed in on the dating rumors linking Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B and Nigerian Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, saying he does not believe the pair are romantically involved because of the footballer’s reported earnings.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, is an American rapper and songwriter, while Maduka Okoye is the Nigerian national team’s first-choice goalkeeper who plays club football in Europe.

Speaking during a livestream, Akademiks argued that Cardi B has become accustomed to dating wealthy men and claimed someone earning around $900,000 annually would not meet her standards.

According to him, “Offset done tricked on her and spoiled her too much. Even Stefon Diggs stepped it up. You can’t come after that making a million a year.”

He added that he believes Cardi B and Okoye were only having a friendly conversation and dismissed speculation that they are in a relationship.

🚨🔵 If the reports are true, Xabi Alonso may have just solved Chelsea's biggest right-side dilemma without signing a single player.

It is being reported that Xabi Alonso sees Reece James as a midfielder, and if that's genuinely the plan, then I honestly think all the noise around Malo Gusto's future should die down immediately. A few weeks ago, I said Chelsea slapped that huge price tag on Gusto not because they wanted to sell him, but because they wanted to scare off clubs like Manchester City. Looking at this latest development, that theory makes even more sense.

If Reece is spending more of his time in midfield, Chelsea suddenly have two top modern right-backs fighting for one position instead of one replacing the other. Gusto doesn't have to leave, Palestra doesn't have to be rushed, and Alonso gets depth in one of the most demanding positions on the pitch. That's a massive win for Chelsea because quality competition is exactly what every top squad needs.

For me, keeping Gusto would be one of Chelsea's smartest decisions this summer. Imagine having Reece James, Gusto and Palestra all available while also unlocking Reece's qualities in midfield. That's not a squad problem... that's a luxury. If Alonso can make this work, Chelsea fans should be celebrating because we'd be keeping one of the best young right-backs in Europe instead of strengthening a rival.
