Joann stores everywhere are cashing in on these Black Friday sales. My store cannot get lower than 20 orders. Another stated, "we’ve been at a constant 300 orders and behind 2 days and now Joann is requiring us to do Ship-From-Store so we have over 700 total!" #peopleoverprofit

Most stores have a bare bones crew. It's not our choice... it's from corporate! They want us working with 2-4 people max filling these insane amount of orders. It takes time to find and cut and bag everything. Yelling at us will not make it go faster. #peopleoverprofit

I really wish people understood the abuse employees at Joann Fabrics are facing during this time. It's very sad and sickening. It's hard to please everyone when you are short staffed and overworked.

anyway. if youre not in DIRE NEED dont go to the joann fabrics. dont send in bopis orders, dont swing by for curbside pickup. as long as they think there's money to be made they will not close the stores, putting customers and employees in danger

I've been getting messages from many of you that stores that were closed are now reopening for curbside and stores that were curbside only are now open to the public! Many states are still under stay-at-home! It isn't right for employees to lose that safety! #peopleoverprofits

We are receiving word that stores in Illinois (which have been closed for nearly 2 weeks) are reopening tomorrow for BOPIS! I haven't heard or seen anything from the Governor!

Pt 2- They had to provide proof within 48 hours (which everyone in the medical community is already overwhelmed). They were already feeling scared from being sick and then they had to deal with this! After providing proof, corporate closed us down.#peopleoverprofits #shameonJoann

Confession 19 - The store I work for has a confirmed case of Covid-19. We closed down and cleaned. Now they expect us to open even though the confirmed person worked with every person within the two days of being sick. Corporate didn’t believe them and thought it was a scam!

The cloth masks prevent you from coughing/sneezing onto others and from touching your mouth BUT multiple studies have proven that the cloth masks Joann is promoting provide absolutely nothing towards the virus! It has a significant issue - moisture.

I'm feeling better and getting back to your messages! This one really stood out because it's a major problem at Joann. All the ones around me were very amendment about being open to the public! Even when we begged to be curbside only, it was never an option! #shutthedoor!

And that moisture acts like a magnet! It will have the opposite effect! Especially with how little people care about safely disposing their gloves when they go out, do you expect them to wash their masks after every use? #StayTheFAtHome
