So refugees who flee places like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jamaica, etc were being gay or even being perceived as being gay, which may result in death, rape, torture and/or societal exclusion, do so out of personal choice?????🤔🤦🏽‍♂️

Let’s be honest. If Uber and Lyft ACTUALLY cared, they’d change their drivers employment status to “employee”, and provide them with full health care. That way, all drivers would be able to access contraception, abortion, paternity and maternity care.

Systemic racism is when POC are more likely to be sentenced to prison for possession of cannabis, yet white folks are spared jail and sentenced to reading a book for holding vast swathes of material promoting Nazi ideology and bomb-making instructions.

Instead of making offenders wear high viz jackets in chain gangs, how about helping them get a real job instead? In my shops we employ lots of ex offenders and they wear a shirt and tie. Same people, different approach, a much better outcome.
