8.23 lakh sanctioned Union govt posts were vacant as of March 2024. Graduate unemployment is 29.1%, nine times that of those who never attended school, and these vacancies are saying that the govt does not care about youth unemployment.

It is also evidence of an understaffed, dysfunctional govt. 2.4 lakh vacancies in civilian Defence alone are particularly alarming when China continues to violate our territorial integrity. A government that cannot even staff itself cannot govern effectively. Worse, this careless govt is putting our national security at risk

Balayya Swallowed by Hyderabad!!

Yet another rain & yet another human gets devoured by Hyderabad drains!

70 year old Balayya went missing after falling into an open manhole near the railway underpass at Vaishali Nagar, Miyapur, Hyderabad.

GHMC staff had left the manhole uncovered in the area over the past few days for drain works. No signages or no precautions were taken to ensure people don’t fall in the open manhole.

NDRF rescue teams have arrived at the scene and are conducting a search operation for Balayya.

In a welcome move, the Government of Telangana has decided to issue Family Register Certificate through the MeeSeva platform (���62 as service charge). I had made a representation along with @FaheemQureshinc. The certificate is one of the 12 acceptable documents under the Special Intensive Revision. It will benefit many poor & undocumented people if they receive notice. I hope this facility is used by the people. I thank the state government for its timely decision.

I met @TelanganaCS along with @FaheemQureshinc and demanded that @revanth_anumula government must consider issuing PRC or Family Register Certificate to electors of Telangana in the ongoing SIR in Telangana under Article 162
If @revanth_anumula accepts it will be beneficial to poor people of Telangana in getting their names in Final SIR list ,which will save them many troubles & inconvenience.
The Karnataka government is issuing PRC certificates through a GO under Karnataka Sakala Services Act 2011.

#WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana: On the passport and citizenship issue, AIMIM Chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi says, "Maybe the government is saying that in 2030, only people who have a BJP membership card will be called an Indian citizen..."

He says, "A passport is only given to an Indian citizen. If you read the Passport Act 1967, it clearly says that a passport is not given to a non-indian citizen and a passport is given only after a thorough police verification. Then, if you are saying that only a citizenship certificate is proof, then a citizenship certificate is only given to those people who got citizenship through registration or naturalisation. I am by birth and by choice, an Indian citizen. My generations and my grandfather's grandfather was born over here. I feel that the government wants to retain the control to randomly ask any person, are you an Indian?..."

#WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana: On SIR starting from today in Telangana, AIMIM Chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi says, "Earlier we were told that a pre-printed form would be given by the BLOs to the elector and the elector will have to just check, sign with a photograph and give it back. But now two enumeration forms would be given based on the latest voter list, and the elector will have to write down the voter list details. We have requested that the pre-mapping exercise that the ECI has done, please share it with the BLAs, so that the BLA, along with the BLO, will help the elector in writing down that form, and there will be no mistake, because remember, only two enumeration forms are given... In 2002, the voter list was done manually by the ECI. And out of the 12 documents which the ECI has prescribed, three are not available in Telangana. One is that the family register is not given, no permanent residence certificate is given, an NRC has not been done in Telangana, and Aadhaar is not acceptable on its own as a document. So we are left with only eight documents. Can you imagine the trouble which the voters are facing right now? If anyone's name is not there in the 2002 voters list, his name is not there, his parents' name is not there, his maternal, paternal, and grandparent names are not there, he will have to make these documents... I'm thankful to CM Revanth Reddy that he accepted our proposal of having more MeeSeva centres in Telangana, but still, the AIMIM party from the last two months have helped thousands and lakhs of people in ensuring that we give them the details of their names from 2002, we have helped them in mapping. But documents are going to be difficult, and please remember that if your name does not come in the final SIR, according to the Supreme Court judgment, the ECI will have to forward those names to the competent authority, which in this case would be MHA. So there will be a question mark raised about your citizenship..."

Voters who have shifted to a new address may apply for correction of address details in the Electoral Roll by submitting Form-8 to the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).

🗓️ Draft Electoral Rolls will be published on 31.07.2026
🗓️ Claims and Objections can be filed from 31.07.2026 to 30.08.2026

Process Flow:
Draft Roll Published → Form-8 Submission → Claims & Objections → Updated in Final Roll

In case the voter is not available during the BLO visit, any adult family member may receive the Enumeration Form, fill it, sign it, and submit it subsequently to the BLO.
