@StephenKing Mississippi is Trump country and I've seen a lot of signs but recently I had some hope. A guy who'd been flying a Trump 2020 flag for almost 2 years took it down. I asked him why. He said, "I'm a veteran and I didn't fight so he could invade Portland."
I have started to see a lot of Trump signs in my little patch of America, and each one provokes the same surge of unreality. I think, "Really? After all the deaths, and all he's done to wreck the economy? REALLY?"
Do not amplify misinformation.
If someone is consistently hyping snake-oil miracle cures, or making up stories about policies that aren't real, stop putting a camera or a mic on that person as a source for information in this crisis.
Rebut lies. Tell the truth. Cite sources.
Hooooly shit. Kottkamp, Republican Lt. Gov. of Florida, is complaining that his vacation to Vail was disrupted by a global pandemic. Polis, the Democratic Gov. of Colorado, is having exactly zero of his shit.
If members of Congress can go on self imposed quarantine and still get paid. It only makes sense that Congress should pass emergency laws to give paid sick leave to every American until this emergency is over.
Across New Hampshire today, when opposing candidates show up to polling sites, @PeteButtigieg supporters have been cheering the candidate and chanting “vote blue no matter who!”
Home snuggling with my 5 yr old niece looking at videos and pictures of @PeteButtigieg from this weekend. (Per her request) @carliemonett is raising this girl right! 💙💛💙💛 #Pete2020
@DanaBashCNN@CNNSotu I drove 10 hrs & 680 miles from Colorado. Took time off work, paid for a hotel, stood in the rain. My family made financial sacrifices for me to be here. I missed trick or treating with my kids to be here. Worth every mile & every penny to be part of this incredible moment!
@DanaBashCNN@CNNSotu My sister @carliemonett and I drove up from Louisville, CO on our own time and dime, waited in the cold rain for hours all because we believe in @PeteButtigieg. This is what hope looks like friend.
