@RSPBScotland Loch Lomond is a #GreatPlacesForNature with wetland, woodland, farmland, river and lochshore habitats. In summer, the highlights are ospreys, warblers, butterflies & dragonflies. In winter, there are Greenland white-front & pink-feet geese.

Today our #lockdown bird list (walking only) reached 62 species with the addition of osprey! 🤩 Aiming for 70 species I think 🤔 #birdingwithbaby 👶The bluebells are also starting to come out 💙 @RSPBScotland @SIBirdClub @lomondtrossachs

6am I saw a sandpiper freezing cold on the shore. Didn't move when I approached it. Usually I leave these things to sort themselves out. However not this time. Pleased to say after warming up for 30 mins it flew away and then began to feed. A strange morning.
