"Toxicity" is the title track from System of a Down's 2001 album Toxicity. The politically charged song reached #14 on the UK Singles Chart, #3 on the US Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and #1 on the US Alternative Airplay chart, becoming one of the band's biggest hits.

The album was released just one week before 9/11, leading some radio stations to temporarily avoid playing the song because of its references to societal unrest, despite its lyrics having been written long before the events.
