In this current time of our history: it would definitely be ideal for the US people to be the biggest donors in charity as the US dollar still rules the global economy. I sure would hope that what you say is true.

But I speak in the span of ever since Christ has ascended, throughout all of history; the RC church has contributed the most charity than any other group, even in their own poverty. And they still do even now.

the roman catholic church has done the most in providing the world with hospitals, schools and social services than any other group in the history of the world.

the vatican functions at a budget deficit, with most of its income coming thru tourism and donors hence those art and gold you speak of.

Catholic convert of 5 years here, I learned that the protestant preachings that they have on sundays arent comparable to the homily at a Catholic Mass, as Mass doesnt focus on preachings as much as liturgy. Rather, these types of preachings can be found within the different ministries within the Catholic parish/community; youth groups, young adult groups, married couple groups, conferences etc.

often there are more preaching-type substance that stem from these auxiliary services (which can last from a few hours to whole days with different session topics) than the Mass.

example: I attended a few SEEK conferences, a catholic conference aimed towards college students; a week long retreat with various guest speakers (the preachers in this case!) and they also had Mass everyday!

Good question, same as I said above, God still favored and blessed one side. The key is to recognize that God specifically anoints a group or someone (his people), not a war itself.

God has a pattern in OT in regards to these things; He opposes extreme wicked evil; child sacrifice, beastiality, incest etc. (he himself even wiped out nations that had nephilim mating by flooding the earth).

now if we look at our world today…its hard to even say which nations ARENT guilty of such things. who has been annointed to deliver judgement? who gets to say?

Wars itself are not blessed in OT, usually a person or the cause on one side of the war is blessed or assisted divinely.

God would be so pleased to hear you. Please DO give Him a piece of your mind. Talk to Him, ask Him everything you’ve ever wondered, even DEMAND from Him. God will be pleased and He will not leave you in silence.

Look for signs and wonders in your life. Take a walk and see what you notice. He knows your heart and He will speak to you in ways only you can understand.
