@DiscussingFilm I can't remember when's the last time a trailer got me so deeply invested in a movie I'd heard nothing about before. Genius move to focus on the solid foundation of loving craftsmanship in the project and to give away only the most essential bits of the narrative premise. Hooked.
Genius method for a trailer tbh, showing off just enough story to actually have sold a narrative premise of some sort and the rest is just a really captivating "here's why you can trust that we'll deliver a memorable experience"-sales pitch. I'm in.
I actually do remember! Went to the store with my dad to get it, but couldn't find it on any of the shelves. I've never been much comfortable talking to strangers, but dad worked up the courage in me to go ask the staff about it. I got the only copy they had in stock 💙
@JKchaan Nooo she just loved the world and life anyway and loved those friends she finally made and then they all carry on against all odds to save the otherwise quite possibly doomed world because it's what she would have wanted ;w; Aerith chose love in the greatest possible way <3
Aerith, man. This girl really really loved to live but when trying to save the world gets her killed she goes out with a smile, as if knowing that she spent her last moments giving everyone else a chance at the beauty of life 💔Based af
Basic premise could easily be retooled for a Shadow the Hedgehog-story, with one of the androids Eggman made from his DNA gaining this same conviction/delusion. Would be here for it tbh 👌👌👌
@MewDenise Step 1: SURRENDER ALL WORLDLY POSSESSIONS TO SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG
Step 2: Fanfiction and fanart I guess?? Jag kan lära dig att rita Sonicfigurer 😂😂😂😂
@SoyHeinita To the extent and in such depth as seems suitable for the relative in question, absolutely! I.e: With most relatives I only mention something Sonic if it's relevant as an example for another subject, but my little brother and I can easily hold a conversation primarily about Sonic
@MissMarsvin@MewDenise Oooo you're both very welcome to remind me to check this out once I've gotten around to watching the movie! I've heard it's a good one!
@ChaoticSonicFan Headcanon:
>PR team ambushed and hurled soda at Shadow
>Shadow caught it like a champ
>*snap*
>"Hey, bro, do you mind if we use this for marketing purposes?"
>"H M P H."
>"...that's not a no, good work boys!"
And Shadow continued to have better things to do than press charges:D
@MewDenise Maybe you could bake stuff and donate it to a local sports club or something? Then they could either use it as post-training energy recharge or have a bake sale to raise money for whatever sports clubs need bake sale money for 😂
@MewDenise 'Plausible' is a pretty good keyword. Everyone has their different standard for what is plausible, of course. I frown upon the use of 'okay' in pre-modern-esque settings, but a lot of people seem to be, well, okay with it--probably because it's such a basic word in modern vocab
@MewDenise I like to write in settings that resemble pre-modern eras and this is a balancing act. Immersion can just as well be broken by "I don't understand half of this archaic vocabulary" as it can by "no fucking way this medieval lord would taunt the hero by calling him mid and cringe"
