I now think @monteiro’s Ruined by Design is the most important book I’ve read in years.

He not only describes the critical problems we need to address, he’s outlined specific prescriptions.

And, dammit, he’s right.

This is over engineered, but the value in these interactive prototypes is not for the UX designer, the value is for others, eg:
- sticking it on a wall for a product team/stakeholders to play with
- cultural change, getting used to prototyping first
- maintaining a UX presence
