@black_nigredo I always find it odd that they don't understand that XB1's story is against false gods. Same can be said about X, it's entire through point is unity, racism is rarely spoken of within the game. The characters are broken, coping with this new reality, racism isn't a thought here

When is name calling appropriate?

Jesus did it.
“Brood of vipers”
“White washed tombs”
“Hypocrites”
He called Herod “that fox” (not a compliment)
He called Peter “Satan” once

I used to feel (I use that word purposefully) that name calling was wrong as a rule. But there are many instances of righteous name calling in Scripture, even from Jesus.

Recently I name called Sean Feucht.

I called him Sean the Fraud Feucht, Sean “someone get this on camera” Feucht, and Sean Firebomb Feucht.

There was substantial pushback not on the TRUTH of such names but on the appropriateness or righteousness of using them. I currently stand convinced they are appropriate and good names to use. I recognize some will think I’m being petty or low but I do disagree with that. Sometimes our sense of niceness isn’t really good, it just blunts our ability to call out evil.

I’m genuinely interested in thoughtful replies here but please please please consider Scripture seriously first. Elijah openly mocked and ridiculed false prophets, God mocked idolaters, Paul mocked the “super apostles,” Jude said the following, “These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.”

I currently take the pushback on me calling Sean well-earned shameful names as a cultural, not biblical, pushback.

But I’m open to correction IF and only if that correction would not also condemn the biblical authors.

Honestly this is so funny to me, maybe I've never followed anything this close before but I definitely find it peculiar. However I'm more than happy to see a game give back to those who are excited!

Interesting, this one is ever so slightly different from the original where it changes out the gameplay for a couple of scenes, likely to make it more in line with the actual gameplay since they received heavy criticism for the original trailer

@Nontononjo "quality of their lives" this implies that a person should be shot dead if they ever feel sad about their life position. They view lives in a quantifiable amount and that's it. They want people to die miserable after living through multiple regrets that might've brought happiness
