City of Hubbard residents who travel Main Street should use alternate routes next week. The final phase of construction will begin with the paving of Main Street. Motorists can expect significant traffic delays at the intersection of Main and Liberty Streets. Work will include the northbound and southbound curb lanes, which will be closed during daytime hours and reopened at night. Work is expected to last approximately 2-3 days, weather permitting. This restoration work is the final phase of our project that replaced approximately 5,403 feet of natural gas pipeline.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete important pipeline upgrades in your community.

Most digging accidents can be prevented by taking one simple step before any work begins. Underground utility lines do not come with visible warning signs, and many are buried just below the surface of yards, driveways, and garden areas. Without knowing where they are located, even a small dig can create serious safety concerns and lead to unexpected costs.
Damaging a buried utility line can result in injuries, service interruptions, and costly repairs that affect both your home and your neighbors.
Calling 811 before digging allows trained professionals to locate and clearly mark underground utilities so homeowners know where it is safe to work. This free service removes uncertainty and helps prevent problems before they start.
Safe digging is about prevention, not reaction. Taking a few minutes to call 811 helps protect your property, your family, and the essential services your community relies on every day.

The Switzerland Compressor Station in Ohio is a critical part of the natural gas transmission system, supporting the safe and reliable movement of Ohio produced natural gas to customers within the state and to downstream markets.
Placed in service in 2014 and expanded in 2020, the station is designed to maintain system pressure and flow, helping ensure energy is delivered where it is needed. Today, it operates at 15,650 horsepower and delivered approximately 110 BCF of throughput in 2025. With a 99.9 percent runtime, the facility plays an essential role in system reliability and day to day operational consistency.
Safety is a core focus at the Switzerland Compressor Station. Over more than a decade of operation, the site has maintained zero OSHA recordable injuries. This achievement reflects strong operational discipline, leadership from Operations Supervisor Rick Russell and Tim Andrews, Manager of Compression, and a team that takes clear ownership of safe, dependable performance.
This is the standard that keeps service strong and natural gas moving where it matters most.
