I envision ENCOM as a fictional company that values and conceptualizes data as a form of currency, originating with "flopawrettes" as its flagship product, which succeeded in sales and propelled ENCOM to the status of a megacorporation.

Enterprise Computing Solutions is heavily inspired by YOUNG-HAE CHANG HEAVY INDUSTRIES, MSCHF, and the broader ecosystem of SHOQANAW-affiliated entities.
