I lost my Dad this morning to COVID-19. He was my rock, my best friend, and my hero. He had virtually no symptoms and 48 hours later he was fighting for his life. I’m begging you guys from the bottom of my heart, please stay inside and be safe.
@lyft NYC subway now dangerous - female grocery store workers going home at night/alone = high risk of violence - stories are coming in. Without them we can't buy food. Can we connect them with rides during this pandemic for safety?? Manhattan to Bronx 🙏
If you are evacuating for #HurricaneDorian, PLEASE TAKE YOUR PETS WITH YOU. They are dependent on you for their survival. Please don’t assume they’ll naturally survive the storm or will be rescued in the aftermath. Please don’t leave them to die alone and afraid.

‘You have a dangerous object in your hand’ … ’I’m picking up trash’ — This officer pulled his gun on a student who was cleaning up trash outside his dorm
@TaranaBurke Thank you for shining a light and continuing to be a voice for those who were, and continue to be, stripped of power and voice by a culture who places the value of women’s lives at the bottom of the rung. Did you know back then you’d be #changingtheword with #metoo? ❤️
@TaranaBurke ONE VICTIM is too many: THIS must be our new reality. No rapist rapes once: unless that rapist is jailed. This is blatant cultural disregard for women’s lives + white male group think: you get a pass for “only” one rape. #dignityforher#justiceforher#protectionforus#notonemore
@TaranaBurke @DeutschInc AT LAST we shine the light where its most needed: survivors and the culture of abuse that affects them. Exposing the past is how we dream the new future.
