Two years since Oct 7 Hamas attack: Story still doesn’t add up Oct 7 shattered Israel’s touted image of ironclad security—and left behind a trail of questions and inconsistencies that smell less like failure and more like intent.

The Hamas attack caught the Israeli Defense Forces flat-footed, fumed US comedian James Breuer, for all their tech and intel clout.

Assassinated conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk cast doubt on how Hamas’ attack was allowed to unfold. “Did somebody in the government say stand down?” he queried.

Overconfidence and systemic operational missteps by Israel's senior political leadership, the IDF, and the Israel Security Agency (ISA), were behind Oct 7, claimed ex-Israeli intel chief Major General Aharon Haliva in leaked tapes.
