Nineteen states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Washington, D.C., will accept and count a mailed ballot if it is received after Election Day.

But under federal law, the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of every even-numbered year is election day (“Election Day”) for federal elections. See 2 U.S.C. §§ 1, 7 and 3 U.S.C. § 1.

Congress recently reaffirmed a single national Election Day when it enacted the Electoral Count Reform Act (“ECRA”). 136 Stat. 5233, 525 (enacted as Div. P., Title I, § 102(b) of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, 117 Pub. L. No. 328, Dec. 29, 2022). See 3 U.S.C. § 21.

Under recent congressional amendments, no extension of Election Day shall be allowed unless there are “force majeure events that are extraordinary and catastrophic” that justify extension. 3 U.S.C. § 21.

BREAKING:

An illegal alien was just arrested outside of the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC after he assaulted both me and @anjewla90 and tried to steal our phones because we were recording the illegals.

I called @NYPDnews after the illegals attacked us, and the illegal tried resisting arrest once the officers arrived. The illegal alien then attacked the arresting police officers and tried to run away, but he was thrown to the ground by the police after he tried running away.

While he was being arrested, the other illegals swarmed us while shouting at us because they didn’t want us recording.

Here’s some of the video. We have the assault and attempted theft of the phones on camera too. I’ll post those soon.

I honestly felt like they were going to jump us. The videos are insane.

@myobusa @JenfromMaryland @maggiem7776 @LqLana Thank God. Oops, I am thankful things worked out for her. I have a neighbor who volunteered helping the court resolve family issues like that. He wouldn’t talk specifics but he would say it was almost impossible because you couldn’t believe either side.
