Here we are again - two weeks later - still protesting to save our beloved Castletown. Cars on the Avenue is not an acceptable solution. Access through the N4 gate and CPO for the all of land is the only way forward. #savecastletown @SaveCastletown @opwireland @castletownOPW

So sad! The Castletown negotiations have broken down and the Public carpark is now closed forcing cars onto the historic avenue. Unacceptable and unsafe. The state needs to buy adjoining lands and #savecastletown

Lands and access talks concluding imminently. I've written to OPW Min and local OPW reminding them community deserve vasty better than last-minute scramble or late-night emails. They need to address outcome asap & publish detail in timely manner.

@CoraTheWhippet Buster the Lurcher had a similar shock after the VERY muddy dog park today - but now he’s all clean and in his favourite spot on the couch!
