I’m wanting to start a small video series where I talk about topics that are important to me and I don’t see talked about too often. I’m just not sure what the reception would be. The kinds of topics I’m wanting to talk about are EDs, alexythimia, derealisation, etc.
people mentioning its segregation are correct but also need to mention that forcing trans students to go outside in outdoor toilets gives a straight pathway to getting raped and murdered by people who associate everyone who goes in there with being trans
Kinda funny to me that I get genuinely freaked out by the whole ‘nothing is real everything you know isn’t real’ thing (gaslighting and derealisation go hand in hand w/this for me) but then I go and make an SMP where that’s actually the exact premise lol
you cant be a feminist and not be pro-trans
you cant be pro-trans and not be anti-racist
you cant be anti-racist and be anti-immigration
all minorities need to support each other or we all fall apart
Recently I was talking to my therapist and she thinks I have alexithymia. We can’t get a proper diagnosis just yet but it makes so much sense. It feels nice knowing there’s a name for it and that it’s relatively common for those on the autism spectrum.
Y’know it kinda feels like trans men are always forgotten in discussions on inclusivity. We’re men, but we’re still part of a minority that needs representing. I’m not saying don’t support the women and non-men in the space, but I think trans men should be supported too.
You are allowed to be upset. Anger and frustration is a natural reaction.
