@TMatusheski @PerraRespecter @aureliawelde Perfection is "having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be". Jesus can't be perfect in terms of his body, because what constitutes the attributes of perfection changes from place to place and even over time.
@ZogUte@Wedgewood_Ben@gopTODD Being imperfect is forgetting where you put your keys. Not knowing any better... that's a stretch considering their educational background.
@ZogUte@Wedgewood_Ben@gopTODD This went on for 20 years and started because at that time the church had $20 billion and thought members would stop paying a tithe. The Ensign Peak could care less if church members knew about the money. The bad advice came from church leadership out of fear of loosing tithing
@ZogUte@Wedgewood_Ben@gopTODD A violation that's accidental is one thing, to willfully mislead is another. Concerns of getting caught were raised multiple times by both internal audits and management. It wasn't until they were taken to court that they complied. Following hypocrites gets under my skin.
@ZogUte@Wedgewood_Ben@gopTODD Oh I see now. Taking advantage of others trust requires faith that you won't be called out on it. It tracks. For 20 years the church used faith in hopes no one would notice their SEC violations.
@ZogUte@Wedgewood_Ben@gopTODD If you didn't do those things for your parents they'd still let you into their house. But if you don't pay a tithe your not allowed into Gods house, aka the temple.
