@dungeonBGM You definitely succeeded!
But since it's someone else who has to deal with them (and often people who are themselves a bit unpleasant) it's hilarious.
@Sun_Nebulaa Yeah, that drama is unfortunate.
Sadly that kind of thing is to be expected when it comes to characters that people are heavily invested in, and where strong oppinions on their badness/goddness existed and are now open to revision.

WHAT A FINALE
Me and the last standing Loyce Knight both hanging on by a thread, and him giving his life to give me the opening for the final hit๐ญEasily one of the most epic and cinematic fights in the game.
The Ivory King can finally rest.
@graydachi Are they really? One legs reaction to four legs dying is "good riddance", which is the opposite of Salamano's reaction to the dog disappearing. Is there anything beyond the general mistreatment and "4 legs=dog" connecting them?
@Azazeal793 I thought similarly. That Meursault recognized something of himself in Pwie, not unlike how they recognized something of themselves in Wriggly.
He was far more proactive than usual, and specifically in actions to take care of Pwie's (emotional) wellbeing.
@Limeaadee Nah, I get it. He's a bastard, but that doesn't detract from the impact of this image.
I think it's partly because for all the bad stuff he believes and does, much comes from a place of being kinda pathetic, wounded. So a message stabbing right at that... yeah.
@horcruckss Sudden in what way? Pwie going down an unfortunate path like that was kinda foreshadowed by gaining the same "Uncontrollable rage/loss of bodily control" passive that the P1 boss had at some point + the compulsion to eat Wriggly. The destiny they pursued was obviously bad f. them
@a_bingoose Meur has been unusually proactive in taking care of them, and it makes me wonder if he saw something of himself in them - a bit like Pwie saw something of themselves in Wriggly, causing them to become protective of and attached to it.
@bisexualheathcl The fetch quests (largely!) exist to get you into contact with various parts of this world and the people in it. Learning about world and characters happens on the road.
@honglubotomy Don't really get the fetchquest thing. You're sent all over the place, but that's just an excuse to make you see the place and meet people, thereby expanding on both the world and characters.
@coolerbred It's not a matter of supposed to or not. The point is to present one way people can react to their world and circumstances, alongside other ways. (Like presenting noire and rouge.)
By the way this person talks, they already had that opinion before, they just said "this".
@JaneNCorp Tbh, that would kinda undermine the scene because "bringing life into this world is unethical" is a real belief people have. Not one the game expects you to agree with, but one it presents to you as a position. So for it to be "Nah, she's just saying shit" would feel weird.
