To be honest, what Cristiano Ronaldo has done for Portugal is far more than what Lionel Messi has done for Argentina. It’s bigger than trophies, even though Ronaldo has won three for them.

Argentina was already one of football’s superpowers long before Messi arrived. They had won World Cups, produced legends, and were expected to compete for every major tournament. Messi added to that incredible history and delivered the trophy that completed his legacy. But we’re talking about top 3 greatest Football nation here.
