Congratulations to Lilli on a fantastic season! For a kid who never broke 15 minutes as a 6th or 7th grader, it is incredible to see what she has done! She worked hard in the summer, was reliable and consistent, and never gave up! Way to take 92nd at State, girl!

It was Dress to Impress Day at XC practice, so we ran to a lovely sunflower field and took some pictures!

Our MMS girls won the Vicky Piela Invitational today by 1 point! That was super exciting as we had no idea we had won (as we were missing 2 of our top 7 girls). Way to run, ladies! And congratulations to everyone who PR-ed and really stepped up their game today! 📷

@CubsZone Zobrist! (if he played like he used to) He was so versatile and a great leader! If it is someone currently playing, however, I would pick Schwarber! He was always good at getting on base and is EPIC in the playoffs! :) We would NOT have won the World Series without either one!

It is rare to have a State trip where every event PR's, but it happened! And it is even more rare to go and have an athlete take 1st place for the 3rd time in 2 seasons! How incredible! To all these athletes, NEVER stop running and NEVER give up! Life is a race, so race it well!

@CoachZJ @BWestboysTNF I coach an athlete that won the 400 last year at State for IESA. So yeah. Haha. At Sectionals today, we went 1, 2 in the 8th grade boys 400, won the 8th grade girls 400, won the 8th grade boys 4 x 400, and just missed in the 8th grade girls 4 x 400. We can agree to disagree. :)
