🌍 Leaders from the #WesternBalkans met in Hamburg for the first Ministerial Meeting on the Green Agenda, signing the Hamburg Declaration to strengthen climate action. Key initiatives include waste reduction, climate adaptation, and aligning policies with EU standards. 🌱

Within the European #MobilityWeek, the Faculty of Traffic and Communications in Sarajevo, supported by @EUWB6_TCT and @EnergyClimateWB, installed an innovative bicycle parking facility in front of their premises to promote sustainable urban mobility.

7 experienced trainers from #localgov, utilities and associations, upgraded their competences for designing and delivering ToT, so that they could develop new trainers from water professionals.

🔹 Participants also visited Kyjov,🇨🇿, seeing firsthand the impact of smart projects on quality of life. This visit, in collaboration with @mzpcr, is part of the EU4 Energy Transition project, co-funded by the EU 🇪🇺 and @BMZ_Bund 🇩🇪.

🌍 Exciting developments in smart cities! 🌟 This week, over 15 cities from the #WesternBalkans and 🇹🇷took part in the URBIS Smart Cities Meetup in Brno, 🇨🇿. Cities explored advanced smart technologies to enhance energy efficiency, climate action, and public services.

🔹 A highlight was the panel on sustainable urban mobility with GIZ presenting the work in the Western Balkans, on behalf of @BMZ_Bund and the #EuropeanUnion. @nalas_eu shared insights on local administrations’ progress in sustainable mobility, showcasing innovative concepts.
