First big read though of the play Bread and Roses. Sunday 30th April 11.00 at Fore street Library. All invited. This is not an audition , It is so everybody can look at the play and see how the project is coming together.

Last Sunday's rehearsal and workshop was fantastic. The rehearsal space had so much energy there.

Equally as inspiring were the new people who would like to take part in the community play Bread and Roses. They were great to work with, seemed to feel at home straight away. and offered a lot to the project.

Bread and Roses is a intergenerational community play about the incredible women that led the Edmonton 1915 Rent strike. Bread and Roses also explores stories of people suffering from the housing crisis today.
