@nustadax@altim1237@sigmahamster2 I live if im not stupid. If I was stupid, i would be running away from the police in traffic stops and resisting them at every turn
@altim1237@sigmahamster2 It works for everyone who’s smart enough to manage their money and not work minimum wage jobs. All if my family are first generation immigrants (who ran away from the USSR) and everyone testified that they’re just better off here than back where they came from
@RegularSanStan@altim1237@sigmahamster2 Then it’s your choice to get more expensive housing, that’s on you. Housing is affordable in the suburbs you just need to be in the correct location, the suburbs of a major city or near a lake is going to be more expensive that one in a medium sized town
@RegularSanStan@altim1237@sigmahamster2 Migrant labor isnt a requirement for farm work and the migrants are choosing to work there regardless, maybe because they’re running away from countries that dont have capitalism, like Venezuela and Cuba
@RegularSanStan@altim1237@sigmahamster2 Have you considered that you can just live in suburbs? Also if you dont want to live in a dying town, then you’re choosing to live somewhere with more expensive housing, which is of your own fault and not “capitalism” where high demand = higher prices
@RegularSanStan@altim1237@sigmahamster2 If you live anywhere that’s not in a major city or in a place with ridiculously high housing regulations, housing prices are fine and middle class people could afford it
@RegularSanStan@altim1237@sigmahamster2 We have farms in the US run by farmers, who use machinery. The vast majority of farms dont use migrant workers.
Colonialism ended years ago and any resources we still get from the south are from trade.
Housing is currently screwed but it was definitely not always like this
@slip50823654@altim1237@sigmahamster2 better than a country where the vast majority of people have literal starvation
and also many of the food insecure people have stupid expenses that could be reduced for... well more food security
@altim1237@sigmahamster2 Im living in a capitalist country, and I have food to eat and luxuries like a phone and car and a comfortable home. In communism you live in shitty cramped apartments that look like they're from a dystopian movie
@laila96kimjs He walked outside, wow that means he surely learned all about the world and how it functions when the guy walking right beside him was telling him everything in order to keep him in check, right? Vex obviously didnt let Zane learn about the world on his own
@laila96kimjs Bro Zane had the mentality of a child. He had no memories and was super naive. Are you going to blame a child emperor for atrocities or the adviser behind the whole scheme?
@laila96kimjs He was memory wiped, lied to about his past, and basically did everything Vex did without questioning because he didnt know any better. It’s like a child emperor type of reign, the adviser holds more power than the emperor. Plus corruption through the scroll helps too
