@KenCaptn20114@mdbreathe I’m sad how many commenters are so proudly confident in their ignorance. Science is NOT black & white. There are always outliers. Health policy decisions are meant for greater good (least bad). We need more funding for science period - so we understand & help outliers better.
@kingfisherbc1@RichardHuw2@KingOfHotTopics In what way was he rude? I don’t get the uproar over this. It was a bad interview. Don’t the interviewers have someone in their ear telling them what to ask? Asking about a movie he was in for 5 seconds? How about ask what he’s working on? Or something relevant to him!
@BillClinton Whatever your politics, you have to respect the man for inspiring positivity like a genuine leader, civil servant, statesman and proper former president.
@planetmoney@LauraSullivaNPR Laura, great investigative work on the lie of recycling. But the real issue is always lost in these articles. You take for granted “making new plastic is cheaper than recycling”. THAT is the real problem. Its not! Or it wouldn’t be if Industry was responsible cradle to grave.
@MrErnestOwens I think you completely mischaracterized what Obama said in your article about “cancel culture”. He was not criticizing using social media to speak out, he was criticizing those who “only” speak out on social media and do nothing else.
