Wait… a Canadian 🇨🇦 university lists 2.67/4.0 as its minimum graduate admission GPA and offers graduate funding worth up to $20,000/year?

Yes.

I checked the University of Regina’s official requirements.

For most Master’s programs:

Minimum average: 70%
URegina says this is equivalent to about 2.67/4.0 using the WES calculator.

And there’s funding too.

Graduate Fellowship
Master’s: minimum $10,000/year
PhD: minimum $20,000/year

Graduate Award
Master’s: minimum $5,000/year
PhD: minimum $10,000/year

There are also scholarships, research funding and Graduate Teaching Assistant opportunities.

But please note:

Some programs require 75%, and major graduate funding has higher academic requirements.
