Koulibaly 🗣️: “ I will never forget that day. In the tunnel before the match, I shyly asked Leo if we could swap shirts later. He smiled gently and said ‘OK’.”
“But after the final whistle, the pitch was so crowded, and Leo quickly went inside. I went back to our dressing room feeling a bit sad, thinking: ‘He is a massive superstar, he probably just forgot about me’.”
“Suddenly, the door to our dressing room opened, and everyone went completely quiet. It was Messi. He walked straight up to me, handed me his shirt, gave me a warm hug, Then he smiled and walked away.”
“The greatest player in the world came all the way to our dressing room just to keep a simple promise to me. That is pure class.”
Is Portugal having an awful start to the World Cup just to massage Cristiano Ronaldo’s image and ego? Or are we simply witnessing the reality that football is a team sport where individual reputation counts for little once the whistle blows?
PLEASE SHARE🙏🏾 | Justice for Juliana💔
I need you to post this. I have a friend anonzi Juliana Makombe who sadly passed away yesterday at Harare Hospital. My friend was in a relationship with a junior doctor anonzi Tadiwa (I’m not sure of his surname), who was working at Harare Hospital.
Juliana became pregnant and that the doctor pressured her to terminat€ the pregnancy. The procedure was reportedly carried out at the junior doctor’s house, located within the doctors’ residences at Harare Hospital. It is not clear whether this was a properly conducted or authorised aborti0n.
Unfortunately, the procedure did not go well, and the doctor decided to admit her to Harare Hospital. She then underwent an operation on Sunday to correct the complications that had arisen from the aborti0n.
After the operation, she survived and was due to be discharged on Monday. However, because she was still weak, the doctors decided not to discharge her and kept her under observation. Sadly, she did not make it and passed away on Tuesday morning.
My concern is that the doctor in question is nowhere to be found, and the deceased’s relatives have been at Mbare Police Station, but nothing concrete seems to be happening. This is making people feel that something is not right.
I am appealing for justice for this innocent soul. We demand a thorough and transparent investigation by Harare Hospital authorities, the @PoliceZimbabwe, and any other relevant authorities. If any wrongdoing occurred, those responsible must be held accountable.
Zinedine Zidane on Lionel Messi’s hat-trick vs his son’s team:
🗣️ “What we are witnessing from Lionel Messi tonight is something you simply cannot prepare for as a coach, as a football professional, or even as a parent watching your own child on the opposite side.”
“A hat-trick at this level of football, in a match of this intensity, against a team where my son is involved, creates a very complicated emotional situation that is difficult to fully explain in words.”
“As a football man, you have no choice but to respect absolute greatness when you see it in front of you, but as a father, you are also watching your child try to compete against something that feels almost impossible to stop.”
“Every single time Messi gets the ball, you feel like something dangerous is about to happen immediately, because every touch, every movement, every decision turns into a problem for the opposition.”
“At a certain point in the match, you are no longer even thinking about tactics, formations, or instructions… you are just hoping the rhythm of the game slows down for a few seconds.”
“I have immense respect for what he is doing tonight because this is not normal football anymore, this is a player operating at a level where everything he touches becomes decisive.”
“And yes… as a father watching from the sidelines, there is that silent moment where you just want the match to end, not because of anger, but because of how overwhelming the situation has become.”
