We are a subcommittee of Engineers Ireland Cork. We represent the interests of young engineers and engineering students in the region, providing them with opportunities for networking with peers and professional and personal development.
Last night YES Cork held their Annual General Meeting at the Studio of Innovation and Design in UCC. We reflected on the work carried out during the 2023/2024 academic year, elected our new committee and shared some ideas for what we have in store for 2024/2025.
The AGM for YES Cork will take place on the 13th of May from 6pm-7pm.

Last week the chairpersons of YES Dublin, YES Thomond, YES South-East and YES Cork took part in a Webinar introducing the Young Engineers Societies across Ireland.

Last night, YES Cork held their first "CV & Early Careers" workshop in MTU. We had many different speakers from across multiple industries talk about their experience to date and give some invaluable tips to attendees on the night.
YES Cork were among the volunteers today at the Old Cork Waterworks Experience (Lifetime Lab) for their annual Engineering Funday.

Finally we would like to introduce our MTU rep; Luke McCormack.
Luke is in his final year of studies as a Mechanical engineering student at MTU and is looking forward to getting involved with the events we have planned for the coming year!
Next we would like to introduce our UCC Student Rep; Klaudia Serafin.
Her goal for this year is to get more involved in engineering life outside of her studies. She would like to educate and encourage new people to consider engineering as a career path.
