Look at the size of the windows, the foundation level, the workmanship from the stone chasing all the way. This is what happens when you involve me in your project. Kazi saaafi. Chairman @kevinkamaumucha , @Bossyator iko swali?
One thing you should never do as a business person is to think the money in your business account is there for your personal use…
Small small tb back to when I was starting in 2020 I had literally spent all my savings on setting up my clinic I had no leftovers to even furnish the house I had just moved into 🥲🤦🏽♀️.For months I slept on the floor because I couldn’t dare touch what wasn’t ‘mine’ this included not touching a 6 month expense fund I had set aside to take care of things while we got on our feet . Whatever little money the clinic made then I would prioritize my staff who I always made sure to pay by the 5 th no matter how much was in the account they always got paid first . Then necessary utilities like electricity, internet, rent ; basically any expense that would interrupt Service delivery. Next priority was the loan repayments then finally suppliers came last because they were kind enough to allow me negotiate when I would be able to pay God bless them honestly . One thing I learnt during this period was to always pick calls and say pole nimechelewa but I’ll pay something soon 🙂.
It’s only until towards end of 2021 that the clinic could finally afford to start paying me Something to get by …sticking to a salary has enabled me to grow the clinic in Human Resource , equipment and technology wise , credit wise and obviously the space itself and most importantly manageable debt .
In short the only* way to organically grow your business is to understand the money in that account is not really yours to blow
And most importantly the client in-front of you is more important than the Client who hasn’t walked through your door yet . Do your honest and clean work to the client who has already put their trust in you their referral will probably be the only domino effect you need 🙏
I keep this photos to remind me that kuteseka ni kwa muda 🙏 as long as you stay focused on the right things 🙏.
