I find myself wanting Arteta (not Arsenal) to win the league.

Not for the club, but for what it would represent: that patience, belief, and staying the course can actually pay off.

We have all watched Arteta grow as a manager. 7 years of trying. 7 years of patience. I mean it is only fair that he wins. Just to reassure everyone to never give up.

But if he doesn’t win, it almost feels like it questions that idea. It shows that you can still try and not win. For the sake of sportsmanship Arteta should win.

Still, as a United fan, I can’t bring myself to want Arsenal lifting that trophy.
