I have seen the very people who were clapping as Uhuru plunged this country into a swamp of debts asking-"WHERE IS THE MONEY?"

Where is the money?

✅️ With Sh1.31 trillion going to debt repayment and consuming about 68% of our taxes,that's where our money is going.

✅️This is the magnitude of the situation the president is grappling with. To balance public expectations and at the same time save our country from the economic swamp thanks to Uhuru.He is not even one year old in office.

✅️The public debt expenses are the single-largest expenditure for the national government.

✅️The growing debt burden,which President Ruto is focused on facing head-on, is due to the fast-maturing commercial and semi-concessional loans that Uhuru contracted in the final years of his administration.

✅️This has been a headache to Kenya’s president, who now has a narrower fiscal space for balancing the budget and implementing his agenda.

Support the president to succeed. Not to fail.

✅️I know he will be able to successfully lead the nation through some of these most tense and unstable circumstances he encountered.
