Heavenly Father,

Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Teach me today to live as a citizen of Your kingdom. Keep me from building my life around temporary things, and set my heart on what is eternal. Help me seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting You with everything else.

Jesus, reign over every part of me. Rule my thoughts, my words, my desires, my decisions, my relationships, and my ambitions. Where pride wants the throne, teach me humility. Where fear wants control, give me faith. Where anger rises, produce gentleness. Where selfishness speaks, teach me to serve.

Make me a person who loves my enemies, forgives quickly, gives generously, speaks truthfully, walks humbly, and shows mercy. Let the fruit of Your Spirit be visible in the ordinary moments of my day.

Remind me that Your kingdom is not merely something I am waiting to enter someday. Through Christ, I belong to You now. Therefore, let my life reflect the King I serve.

Give me eyes to see people as You see them. Show me where I can bring peace into conflict, hope into discouragement, truth into confusion, and light into darkness. Make me faithful when no one notices and obedient when obedience costs me something.

Father, keep me from confusing worldly success with kingdom faithfulness. I do not want simply to be impressive. I want to be obedient. I do not want merely to accomplish great things. I want to hear You say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

May righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit characterize my life. May my home reflect Your kingdom. May my work honor Your kingdom. May my words announce Your kingdom. May my hands serve Your kingdom.

Today, I surrender my plans to Yours.

Use what I have.
Send me where You desire.
Interrupt me when necessary.
Correct me when I wander.
Strengthen me when I grow weary.

And whatever this day brings, remind me that I serve a King whose throne cannot be shaken, whose promises cannot fail, and whose kingdom will have no end.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

🚨BREAKING: Dearborn’s mayor is being sued in federal court after the city spent thousands of taxpayer dollars on Ramadan displays — then stonewalled a Christian resident who asked for Easter and Passover too.

Journalist Margot Cleveland filed the suit with the American Freedom Law Center. FOIA records show about $1,500 on “Ramadan Kareem” banners and $5,000 on a crescent-moon display. Police sold Ramadan shirts with the department logo.

She did not ask the city to cancel Ramadan. She asked for equal treatment. The city expanded the Muslim displays instead.

The lawsuit also cites Mayor Abdullah Hammoud telling a Christian pastor at a City Council meeting: “You are not welcome here.”
