🩵 “Foreshadow” — предзнаменование возвращения?

«Foreshadow» — финальный трек альбома MANIFESTO : DAY 1, вышел 4 июля 2022 года как аутро.
Клип к нему вышел позже, 7 августа 2022 (И как тут не начать обращать внимание на цифры..)

Название песни буквально переводится как «предзнаменование».

По смыслу песня о герое, который чувствует надвигающуюся тень/испытание ещё до того, как оно случится — и при этом сохраняет твёрдую веру, что несмотря ни на какие трудности, связь между ним и остальными не разорвётся, что они снова встретятся и соединятся, что бы ни произошло

“I still believe, I still firmly believe
We can still meet
We will connect no matter what”

Интересный факт: языковые партии в треке распределены неслучайно — Хисын, Сонхун, Сону и Чонвон говорят только на корейском,
Джей и Джейк — только на английском,
а Рики — только на японском.

То есть даже структура трека выстроена вокруг индивидуальности каждого голоса внутри общего целого.

А теперь — визуальный ряд клипа.

Финальная последовательность: сначала один силуэт, стоит в одиночестве.

Потом кадр расширяется — и мы видим уже всех семерых, каждый своим уникальным цветом, стоящих единой линией.

А затем — снова один силуэт, но уже окружённый цветным дымом,

остальные 6 возле него растворились..

Если сложить это всё вместе с тем, что мы знаем сейчас — то невольно напрашивается вопрос: а что, если это не просто художественный приём, а образ цикличности?

Один → семеро вместе → снова один, но не одинокий — окружённый следом остальных?

Песня же сама утверждает: даже если наступят тяжёлые времена, даже если путь окажется холодным и одиноким — конец всё равно будет настоящим, и та связь, которую они разделили, не исчезнет.

Также, помехи и рисовка, которые присутствуют в этом клипе, очень сильно напомнили мне то, к чему я должна была вернуться.

И, пересмотрев ещё раз выступление Хи на SBS, я убедилась, что мне не показалось..

Любопытный факт: над текстом песни, помимо Wonderkid и CA$HCOW, работал сам Хрюк — основатель и глава HYBE.

То есть слова о нерушимой связи и обещанной встрече вписаны рукой человека, который, и рушит их судьбу сейчас..

Ну что ж, вот вы и попались — сами говорили, что «Соединятся несмотря ни на что»

Так соединяйте обратно. Не бросайте слов на ветер..🙄

• The Return To Dark Blood— a brief thought about the hair color change

There are also some thoughts that stay as small observations and aren’t long enough to develop into a full theory, so I usually just post them here on X.
