2/2 To learn about neutron activation analysis & neutron radiography, radioisotope production in a cyclotron, advancements in nuclear medicine such as total body PET, radionuclide production in Small Modular Reactors.
1/2 Oren Tal, Research Associate, and Josephine La Macchia, MSc student from the @EngerLab, @McGillMedPhys attended a workshop in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging at McMaster University’s Nuclear Operations & Facilities in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
In this publication in Radiotherapy and Oncology, we summarized the contributions of a selected group of pioneering women in radiation science born before WWII—from the discovery of radioactivity through various scientific developments and breakthroughs.
