🚫🇦🇷 Racing hit with harsh punishment after a huge pyro show at El Cilindro before their match vs Flamengo last week.

APREVIDE (Agency for the Prevention of Violence in Sports) ruled that the Argentine club must play their next 3 home games behind closed doors.

Racing had been warned beforehand that pyrotechnics were banned. Cameras caught fans entering the stadium with boxes and bags full of fireworks and other items. At least two people suffered minor burns and were taken to the hospital.

After serving the 3-game stadium ban, Racing will face an additional sanction — their next 3 home games will be played without drums, trumpets, flags, or banners. 🎺🚫🏳️
