Chocking of open drains lead to road deterioration, spreading of disease and contamination of water sources. APWD staff are cleaning all the major drains of Ferrargunj Tehsil to prevent blockages and flooding.

On the eve of AKAM, cleaning work was conducted at Anderson Beach, Joginder Nagar, Campbell Bay to improve the coastal and ocean ecosystem and to preserve aquatic life.

To avoid accidents on SH-02 at Campbell Bay due to sliding from continuous rain, temporary barriers are constructed at different stretches of road.

Transport Department ensures mobility in the difficult and distant Island of Kamorta. To ensure seamless service 4 Type-I & 4 Type- II quarters have been constructed in Goal Tikry Kamorta for the operational staff.
