Between 2022 and 2025, I have the privilege of visiting 2 to 3 schools each week, observing over 100 lessons a month.
I have written up everything I learned in 16 books.
I have recently written a new curriculum for 5-18 mathematics.
I think the approach to curriculum design is unlike anything that currently exists. I also think it is precisely what we need.
I will publish a full discourse shortly. But first, I would like to stress test my thinking.
At 7pm on Thursday, I will present my ideas in a live webinar.
I would like to invite all those interested in mathematics curriculum design to join me, hear me out, and share your thoughts.
If you would like to attend, please send me a DM with your email and I will add you to the invitation list, with a link to the webinar.
Being able to articulate the thinking behind the curriculum and receive feedback and criticism from expert mathematics educators and mathematicians will be enormously helpful.
Hope to see you there.

@karenshancock@missradders@mathsjem @jemmaths @Arithmaticks How regularly do they complete a homework of that length? Is that teacher or student marked, and how do they receive feedback on their work? Thank you for your contribution, much appreciated! 😊
I am working with my HoD to refine our approach to homework. What do written homework tasks look like for KS4 maths at your school? Do you focus on retrieval, current topics, or a mixture of both?
Open to ideas! @missradders @robotmaths @mathsjem @jemmaths @Arithmaticks
@MrMattock@missradders @robotmaths @mathsjem @jemmaths @Arithmaticks These look great, thank you again! How is written homework implemented at your school? Is the expectation on staff to mark and feedback on these?
@1stclassmaths Totally appreciate that, it must be so hard to produce such high quality resources around your job. Thank you for sharing them freely, they really are excellent, we really like them!
