Trans women are women.
Period.
That’s why Terrie Butler-Foster, @LjwestWest, @EnglishEdition and I responded to “Transplantation of the uterus in the male rat” for suggesting that a uterus would make trans women “real women”.

@solutions_covid@CPHO_Canada This is a study co-led by two transplant patient/family partners and is set up to respond to the evolving priorities of the transplant community. CDTRP is the only research organization I’m aware of that still requires and provides masks at in-person events. Hold your fire.
Imposter Syndrome is a misogynistic scheme to keep women focused on their supposed inadequacies, instead of the system that holds us back.

The easiest period of my career to get things done was when my son was between 6 and 12 mos old. We splurged on a full time nanny, who also did dishes and laundry. It was life changing!
On the international day of women and girls in science, I’m thinking about Christiane Nusslein-Volhard, Nobel winner in developmental biology. Her foundation awards funding for household support and child care to women scientists.
@kallmemeg@lauralew105@mindyisser Your values determine what evidence you consider valid and important. There is no difference between values-based and evidence-based assessment.
@kathrynsbach Hybrid can be done really well! We ran the @CNTRP annual meeting hybrid, with no technical problems over 3 days, with many panels having a mix of in-person/virtual presenters. We had an excellent tech and program management team.
