The Provincial Chapter elected a new Prior Provincial today: fr Nicholas Paul Crowe OP. Please pray for him and the work of the Chapter as we discern how best to advance the Dominican mission in England, Scotland, and Jamaica for the next 4 years.
We will be holding our Provincial Chapter from 8th April, in Oxford. Please pray for those who are taking an active part in the Chapter, the "capitulars", and for all the Province at this time. May we be ever attentive to the counsels and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Cardinal Vincent has called for this Friday to be a day of prayer for peace in the Holy Land and Gaza, 'as a vital part of our observance of Lent.'
