The Knicks are an example of smart, courageous team building. Firing Thibs for Mike Brown was a ballsy decision by the Knicks. One of many that got them to this point. RJ & Quickley for OG, trading a 1st for Hart, signing Brunson to a big deal, the Randle for KAT deal, sending a ton of picks for Bridges, and moves around the edges like adding Shamet and Alvarado. Some teams are built through the draft. The Knicks were built through masterful trades and signings. Big time credit to Leon Rose and that New York front office.
The Knicks have now outscored their opponents by 262 points across the last 11 games.
That is the best point differential across 11 games in NBA history, regardless of whether it is regular or postseason play.
What an incredible month it has been in New York.
Absolutely top tier playoff rising from KAT this postseason. 8.7 assists and 73% TS is insane. Shout out to Mike Brown for absolutely transforming the Knicks offense by running through KAT.
Paul Reed has been more productive than Jalen Duren on a per possession basis in these playoffs. It's a small sample (30 minutes) for Reed but he's really been making an impact.
We got a Pinoy step from Podziemski, and I guess it looked "funny" and triggered a travel call, but it's a terrible call, as he gathers on left foot, then his legal two steps. Hard to imagine
Special performance from The Joker. The 6th-most points per direct touch, in a game where a player had at least 100 touches and 0 turnovers, in the entire tracking era.
