Most of the world is trying to make a shift towards a greener energy production. Closing down mines and leaving empty land is a waste so they repurpose it as storage for renewable energy. Is this a viable solution for these two major issues?

To support the increasing population of Tesla owners in Montreal, a Tesla Service Center is opening in the West Island. This will be the largest in the Greater Montreal. Do you think we'll be seeing even more Teslas than usual in the future?

@GlueSniffer4321 I don't think the technology is what needs to be tackled here. The article is from the US and they have an ongoing debate about gun control. My take is that limiting legal access to weapons will decrease the crimes. The technology is a cool idea and obviously needs some work too.
As a solution to Netflix losing 200,000 customers in Q1 of 2022, and the projected higher loss in the remainder, they are introducing a cheaper plan... with ads. Would you switch to a cheaper plan if you have to start watching ads again?

We discussed improper uses of technologies in class. We often think of how things can be used in negative ways but rarely the optimistic scenario. As discussed below, the unintended use of the ball saved a man’s life. Glad he’s okay!

Balaji Srinivasan's book proposes that it would not take much for a country to be created on the internet. With cryptocurrencies becoming more valuable than ever, all it takes is a large number of people to set their mind with a common goal.

@ErinPierce_2 I'd agree with it being exploitative. Making home videos has always been done, but it was to make memories, not gain a profit. Although it may seem as the families are having a good time and providing fun experiences, I'm sure the dynamic changes when the cameras are off.
Rogers goes down and people are unsure how to function without systems and functionalities that we've gotten so used to having on a daily basis.
Does this say something about our society and how dependent we've become on certain technologies?

Similar to the VAR in FIFA, MLB is looking to improve the accuracy of calls by introducing robot umpires for reviewing balls and strikes. Will this improve the game or ruin it? Or will it just depend if your team is benefiting from the call...

The idea of colonizing Mars is already widely spoken about. This video explores how Venus can one day be made habitable for humans.
Is inhabiting other planets in our future or should we focus on fixing what we have?

@JC15963 If we can find a good balance between the addition of AI to the cars while still keeping the large decision making to the driver, I think it could work. Definitely not a black and white situation where there's no driver or no AI. Still a lot of work to do in this field.
